Congrats to Jens Nielsen and Michael Kennedy on their new personal bests (pbs) at the marathon distance from the Eugene Marathon and the North Olympic Discovery Marathon, respectively. Ben Mangrum was the 22nd men’s master finisher internationally at this April’s Boston Marathon.

8 February 2019 - Greg Leak took to the starting line this morning at the Husky Classic in the Dempsey Indoor facility on the campus the University of Washington and finished 4th in a new lifetime personal best of 14:02.75 for 5km. A great start to the 2019 track season.

Great day at the USATF Pacific Northwest Regional Championships at Magnuson Park in Seattle for Tacoma City Running Club - Team JoeFroyo on Sunday, November 25th. Kate Landau and Nicole O’Loughlin kicked the day off in the women’s combined open and masters’ race, and took 2nd and 4th in the women’s race. Kate was the master’s women regional champion.
The second champion of the day was crowned in the men’s combined open and masters’ race as Greg Leak won the regional championship in 25:10. Ben Mangrum placed 3rd in the master’s championship. The men’s team placed firth with strong runs by Dennis Keith, Cameron Freshwaters, Francis Reynolds, Jens Nielsen, and Brien O’Loughlin. Mike Lynes placed 5th in the 50-55 category.
